Dentist's Mascot

A few months ago, I got to design a couple of mascot characters for a new Berlin dentists' practice:

And some early design sketches:

Kids' book pitch art

Since last summer, I'm being represented by the wonderful agency Literaturagentur Arteaga. Here's some kids' literature-related character art for pitches and jobs I've worked on with them.

Character Designs

Some character designs for a recent comic project that didn't end up happening.

Character design sketches

Roughly a year ago I was hired to draw some fun character designs for a thing that didn’t end up happening. These were supposed to be turned into a real prosthetic make-up/mask for a live-action tv ad, but it sadly never got that far.

The upside? I get to show them to you:

With these, we tried to go in a more robotic direction:

Self Portrait Compilation

I noticed that I’ve been drawing comic-style self portraits almost every year for quite a while now, so I made this compilation:

FRITZ!Box Character Designs

Before I drew the 5 episodes of my christmas comics for German wi-fi equipment manufacturer AVM, I had to design the main characters.

AVM had already done a live-action ad with them, but I got to determine how they looked as comic characters. First, we had to find the right style, so I drew three different versions of main hero Fritz Box:

They liked version #2 best, and after some minor adjustments, I drew my versions of Power-Liene and Repeater-Pieter:

I hope I get to draw some more comic adventures with this trio in 2021!

FRITZ!Box Comic #4

My fourth comic for the FRITZ!Box advent calendar:

FRITZ!Box Advent Calendar

I got to draw a fun series of superhero comic strips for Berlin-based wi-fi equipment manufacturer AVM. There’s going to be one episode for every week of December and an extra one for Christmas - here’s the first one:

The comics are part of their advent calendar, which comes with cool daily prizes! For this, I drew an illustration of the Fritz!Box heroes (aka 'The AVMgers') in holiday garb:

Six Fanarts

The new meme that's all the rage these days is the #SixFanarts challenge, in which you ask your social media followers for character suggestions and then draw 6 of them in your style.

I had so much fun with this that I did it three times this week! Here they are:

Some character designs

A year or so ago, I drew some character designs for a learning game project that didn't end up happening. Here they are:
